At Securance, we have specialists in every line of needed insurance, whether it be Property/Casualty, Employee Benefits, Bonds or Personal Lines coverage.

Principals/Owners:

E. Carew Bean, Jr.-

Carew Bean is Vice President and Chairman of Securance Corporation.  He is a graduate of Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas with a BBA in Finance.  Mr. Bean founded the agency in 1969. 

Lawrence D. (LD) Daniels, CLU-

Laurie Daniels is a Vice President at Securance Corporation.  He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Management and Finance.  Active in U of H affairs as president of his Sigma Chi fraternity and president of the Spirit Club, he was also named Who's Who in American Colleges & Universities.  Mr. Daniels has been working in the insurance business 45 years and has been one of the owners of Securance since 1974.  Mr. Daniels enjoys working with his clients on an account basis.  Over the years he has handled many accounts, and his greatest pride is in the fact that many of those first clients are still clients as of today.

Robert C. Thomas-

Bob Thomas has over 46 years' experience in the insurance industry, he is currently President of Securance.  Mr. Thomas graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BBA degree in Business and Insurance.  After two years of service with the U.S. Army, he started his insurance career with a large West coast company in their San Francisco office as a group representative.  He transferred to Houston in 1957, where he later joined an insurance agency which he served for nine years before affiliating with Securance in 1974. 

Ms. Deborah D. Hubbard, CIC,ARM-

Ms. Hubbard is a Vice President and Secretary for Securance and has been an account executive and consultant for Securance since 1986 when she graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock with a BBA in Finance.  She is a Certified Insurance Counselor(CIC), a Licensed Risk Manager, and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM).  She has developed the Ambulance program at Securance and specializes in placing coverage for new businesses as well as specialty businesses.
